Agronomy
ASUR’s agronomy team is responsible for building up knowledge of crop varieties and their performance at a regional level. It draws on trial sites located across the various regions of France, as well as the SAATEN-UNION group’s European trial network.
The distribution of seeds for large-scale trials to agricultural distributors and advisory bodies enables these various stakeholders to familiarise themselves with the varieties, and helps to build a robust, multi-site, multi-year database of results.
Sales
ASUR markets its plant varieties to the agricultural distribution sector, either through the granting of licences (line and hybrid wheat in France) or directly as certified seed (hybrid wheat across Europe).
ASUR’s sales teams are committed to building close relationships with their regional contacts in the retail sector in order to develop genetic solutions and associated recommendations that are as closely aligned as possible with the specific requirements of each region and their respective market sectors.
