SAATEN-UNION RECHERCHE becomes ASUR PLANT BREEDING and welcomes three new shareholders: Acolyance, Terre-Atlantique and CAVAC. Nordsaat's CEO, Wolf Von Rhade, was named president of ASUR PB.

Creation of the subsidiary TAMIA PACK, a company specialised in the vacuum storage of seeds and grain.

In conjunction with INRAE, creation of POLLINOVA, a joint subsidiary with SYNGENTA to optimise pollination

Change of management of ASUR Plant Breeding: Rémi Lefebvre takes over from Guillaume de Castelbajac.

ASUR is inaugurating the "Pôle Végétal de la Plaine d'Estrées", which brings a whole range of plant-related activities to ensure team cohesion and positive synergies.

Launch of the winter barley breeding programme
